Socio-economic Disadvantage Inclusion Training – 8 December 2025

The new NIHR wide series of Inclusivity in Research training sessions have been announced, designed to support health and care researchers embed inclusive practices across their work.

These sessions are part of the NIHRs ongoing commitment to improving equity and representation in research.

In this session, Dr Heidi Green (Health Equity & Patient Involvement Specialist), provides strategies to reduce barriers in health inequalities and understand challenges faced by disadvantaged communities. This session includes a case study and the NIHR INCLUDE Socio-economic Disadvantage Framework.
