NWICB Health and Care Research Celebration – 17 March 2026

Come and join the NWICB Research and Innovation Team for an in person, all day event to celebrate and showcase the vibrant health and care research taking place in Norfolk and Waveney.
There will be presentations from academics working on significant pieces of NIHR-funded research in Norfolk, primary care colleagues discussing commercial research and community groups talking about their involvement in research awareness raising and recruiting to studies. You will also hear about workforce initiatives that are supporting colleagues across the system to take a step into research.
It promises to be a stimulating day with interactive breakout sessions and plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues from all sectors across Norfolk and Waveney, bringing together a broad mix of colleagues from community organisations, primary care, secondary care, local authorities, universities, the NIHR and ICBs.
The ICB Chair Professor Will Pope and CEO Ed Garrett OBE will start the day with a review of research in the context of a changing NHS.
