NIHR Health & Care Professionals Internship for East of England – Apply by 24 July

The NIHR Health & Care Professionals Internship is now open for applications

At the NNUH, we have had four NMAHP colleagues successful in gaining places on cohort 1 (Mar – Sept 2026), and they, alongside Rebecca Rayner, NIHR Developing Research Leader, would be happy to offer guidance on the internship and application process if you are considering applying. 

Registered health and care professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) at any career level can apply.

Timeline:

• Applications open: 1 June – 24 July 2026
• Mandatory workshops: 1, 3 & 8 December 2026
• Launch day: 18 March 2027
• Activity period: March -September 2027
