Get involved in Research
Public Research Champions
Did you know you can Volunteer as a Public Research Champion in our hospitals.
Our Public Research Champions talk to patients and the public about health and care research.
They promote the Be Part of Research website to patient and public groups and help people find studies they can take part in.
They promote the Join Dementia Research website and the importance of dementia research to the public.
They co-design materials to raise public awareness of health and care research like posters and leaflets.
If you are interested in joining our group please contact the Research and Development Office:
By email: Office.RD@nnuh.nhs.uk
By telephone: 01603 287062
Training and support to do the activities will be provided. There are no regular hours and you can volunteer for as many activities as you wish.
