Centre For Microbial Interactions: Annual Conference – March 2026

Wednesday 4 March and Thursday 5 March 2026: 08:45-17:00, John Innes Conference Centre, Norwich Research Park

Registration is now open for the Centre for Microbial Interactions Annual Conference 2026. Held at the John Innes Conference Centre, this conference is free to attend and can be attended virtually or in-person. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both days.

Open to all, this conference is a chance to hear about the latest microbiology research from across the NRP. The event includes presentations, panel discussions, exhibitor stands and keynote presentations from:

  • Prof Elaine Bignell (University of Exeter)
  • Prof Dr Christine Beemelmanns (Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland)
  • Prof Tanmay Bharat (MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology)
  • Prof Sophie Nixon (University of Manchester)

There will be the opportunity to present posters, with early career researchers particularly encouraged to share their work. Research technical professionals and technology platforms leads are also very welcome to showcase the facilities and services from across Norwich Research Park through a poster. You will be asked to provide your poster title as part of the registration form and full poster abstracts must be submitted by Friday 20th February 2026 (your registration confirmation email will have more details).
