Participant in Research Experience Survey

Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES)
We are committed to involving as many people as possible in health and care research. It is therefore important to understand what impacts participants’ experience of research when designing and delivering research studies.
We aim to put participant experience at the heart of research delivery.
Each year we ask research participants to share their experiences of taking part in research. Through the Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES), we aim to improve the way research studies are designed and delivered, now and in the future. The survey results are monitored by the East of England Research Delivery Network as an important metric of our service delivery performance.
How to access the PRES
Thank you for taking part in research at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. We appreciate you taking a moment of you time to complete the NIHR Participant in Research Experience Survey. To do this:
- Locate the Survey Code which the study team gave you.
- Access the My Research Experience website.
- Select the ‘I have a Survey Code’ option.
- Enter your Survey Code.
The Published Results
Responses will then be pooled and carefully reviewed by a team of researchers. The anonymous results are then published nationally each year in late Autumn. Below are links to the results from previous years:
